The 3 cores XLPE Insulated MV power cables are designed for distribution of electrical power with nominal voltage Uo/ U: 3.6/ 6 kV, 6/ 10 kV, 8.7/ 15 kV, 12/20 kV and frequency 50Hz.
This XLPE Insulated cables are widely used in the building and construction, renewable energy, and power transmission industries where the cables can be laid directly into the ground or cable ducts.

CONSTRUCTION OF XLPE INSULATED MV CABLE: 1. CONDUCTOR – Bare copper class 2 to IEC 60228, round, multiwire stranded and compact 2. CONDUCTOR SCREEN – Inner semi-conducting coating 3. INSULATION – Core insulation of cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) 4. INSULATION SCREEN – Outer conductive layer extruded and per-manently welded with the core insulation Semi-conducting type 5. METAL SCREEN – copper tapes helically with a minimum thickness of 0,1 mm. Separator 6. FILLER – PP filler 7. WRAPPING TAPE 8. SHEATH – Outer sheath of PVC compound Core identification: – Colored tapes under screen. |
