Description of concentric cable
LV and MV polymeric insulated cables for use by distribution and generation utilities. Specification for distribution cables of rated voltage 0.6/1 . XLPE insulated combined neutral and earth copper or aluminium wire concentric cables with copper or aluminium conductors.
Application of Concentric Cable
For indoor, outdoor and underground installation in ducts and in the open where better mechanical protection is required, or for higher tensile stress during installation and operation. Suitable for comparatively high ambient temperature due to high maximum permissible conductor temperature.
