6 AWG Peachbell AAC – ALL ALUMINUM CONDUCTOR
Also Known As:
6 AWG Peachbell ALL ALUMINUM CONDUCTOR, 6 AWG Peachbell cable AAC, 6 AWG Peachbell aluminum alloy cable, 6 AWG Peachbell abrasive resistant cable, 6 AWG Peachbell electric meter wiring, 6 AWG Peachbell transmission overhead, 6 AWG Peachbell burying electric cable, 6 AWG Peachbell utility pole ground wire, 6 AWG Peachbell overhead power line components.
Allowable Ampacity for 6 AWG AAC Peachbell Conductor: 103 Amps
Applications
Bare EC grade hard-drawn aluminum stranded conductor. Available in sizes 6 AWG through 2750 MCM.Overhead electrical distribution and transmission for distributing power.AAC (all aluminum conductor) is the most economical bare overhead conductor due to its lighter weight. It offers easier handling during installation and use of simpler fittings. The wire is corrosion resistant due to its homogeneous construction.
Applicable Standards:
Gecable’s AAC bare conductor meets or exceeds the following ASTM
Specifications:
– ASTM B-230: Aluminum 1350-H19 wire for electrical purposes.
– ASTM B-231: Concentric Lay Stranded Aluminum 1350 Conductors.
Construction
- Conductors
- Ampacity
AAC cable has a concentric lay stranded conductor consisting of Aluminum Alloy 1350-H19 wires and is available in both single-layer and multi-layer constructions.
Medium to high voltages.
